I’m located in Lake Charles, LA. I service clients locally and across the web. My strength lies in producing high quality work and creating long lasting returns on clients’ investments.
When necessary, I collaborate with a network of experienced developers and service providers. This enables me to offer all inclusive services if beyond the scope of my technical capacities.
The affiliates listed are not included as a means of simply monetizing my site. They are included because of the value and quality of products and services being offered. I value my reputation as a designer and am hesitant to recommend products solely as a means of earning additional income through affiliations. I simply recommend based on my own prior experiences with the products and to provide a trusted source to those users who may be less experienced or are simply looking for an honest evaluation.
That being said, with regards to hosting, I would recommend Amazon’s Free Usage Tier or their Cloud Services in general over BlueHost (shared hosting) because of the greater control over the server when self hosting a site. As a novice, I used BlueHost initially and experienced a couple of minor outages, but at the time my sites were low traffic and the outages were insignificant. Overall, the experience was satisfactory and they are being included because of their value, and because of the fact that not all users possess the technical proficiency or the desire to self host a website.
Digital Ocean offers a $10 discount on the first month’s hosting fees and they offer easily deployable VPS’ for those users who would rather self-host a website.
